Within One Word
by willjxn

A native heart is what you need,
Undo your mind, amusement feed.
Make primal sounds, in baby talk,
Ah-na-ma-da-pa-ya-squawk!

Sing with clever finger snaps,
In playful cadence, stomps and claps.
Give young hearts a laughing fit,
Riddle-ize their childhood wit.

Grow from birth, turn old, decay,
In dawn, In eve, in night,  in day.
The sun, the moon, the stars above,
Show the way to share your love.

Tap dance with  a meter-ic foot,
Where every sound in lines are put.
No need for boots or tennis shoes,
To Double dactyl, ice skate-cruise!

Sail across the seas of time,
Meter out its waves sublime.
Insight spondaic, parody,
Paint in ways the blind can see.

Be visions mental architect,
Cathedral build an intellect.
Palladiate,  Da Vinci-fy,
Invis-habilitate your eye.

Hang from Heaven’s chandeliers,
Swing upon Her moonbeam sheers .
Glide o'er tranquil stardust sea,
Trapeze-e-ate from moon to tree.

Words are cheap but they give means,
To make one’s thoughts hear sounds, paint scenes.
A word, imperfect, though it be,
Within one word, sprouts poetry.
The Word made flesh his glory see,
Within one Word, His poetry!
